Ashes Cricket 2013 has been announced and will be making its way in your consoles and personal computers this coming June. 505 Games, the publisher of the game has finalised the game for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U.

“We are delighted to be able to announce some of the key features for Ashes Cricket 2013,” said Ralph Pitt-Stanley, General Manager for UK & Export at 505 Games. “This game has been created with real cricket fans and players in mind. The new engine allows players to mimic a cricketers most important attribute, his technique.”

Developed by Trickstar Games, Ashes Cricket 2013 will have a brand new gaming engine which they claim will deliver the most authentic cricketing experience. The pitch will be susceptible to spin and bounce. Pitch deteriorates with time, offering green seaming during the first match and spin and bounce mechanics as you reach the fifth day. Weather will affect the pitch dynamically, overcast conditions will be more conducive to swing, while sunny days are a batsman’s paradise. Batsman have a complete 360 degree control over shot placement, giving the player the freedom to play the shot of their choice, provided they possess the impeccable placement and timing.

At present, the only confirmed licensed teams are England and Australia, but we expect to see more team licenses being added as we progress towards the launch date.
