I know many of you dream of becoming game developers. Obviously, its so cool to make video games, because video games are fun! For those willing to get a taste of the action, and maybe brush up on your game testing skills, Square Enix is signing up Beta Testers for its upcoming Final Fantasy XIV: A Real Reborn (Final Fantasy 14 remake). This is re-release of the 2010 bugged game. The original suffered from many issues and Square Enix decided they’d rather brush up their product and release in the market when it is completely ready. And to be sure of the quality, they want your help.

In preparation for the upcoming launch of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn on Windows PC and PlayStation 3, we are looking for players to take part in the beta test.
Players who met the Legacy campaign requirements can participate in the beta test starting from phase 1 and are not required to apply. However, we ask players who wish to participate in the PlayStation 3 beta test to apply for it.
If you applied to be a PlayStation 3 beta tester for FFXIV Version 1.0 and were selected to test the Windows version instead, you need not apply again to test the PS3 version—your original application will be reconsidered when we start selecting PS3 testers. However, if you wish to be considered as a Windows PC tester, we ask that you apply specifically for that.

Final Fantasy XIV is in Beta Phase Three testing, and this is the phase where the game will be tested by gamers who sign up on their website. If you are interested, you can sign-up at the Beta Tester Registration Website.

Final Fantasy, for the first time, is also being launched on the PC for Windows. I’ve always wanted to play a Final Fantasy game on my desktop. For a series running for atleast 20 years, this is the first Final Fantasy that is being launched on the PC along with the PS3 version.
