This is a good time for the e-sports scene in India. With ESL ramping up its tournaments, ASUS entering the picture with a huge ROG Masters tournament, GIGABYTE doing its own thing, we now have BenQ ZOWIE making its own mark.

eXTREMESLAND 2017 Asia Cup is coming to India

eTREMESLAND is an yearly format Counter Strike: GO tournament. The tournament will feature a series of online qualifiers, to be held between 11th and 27th August, followed by an on-ground finale to be held on the 23rd and 24th September. The winner of the India LAN finals will then fly to Shanghai, where the Grand Finale will take place between 16th to 22nd October.

Buddying CS:GO amateurs can freely participate in the online qualifiers, which is open for all. Once through, the top 4 teams will battle it out in the India LAN finals. The location for the India LAN finals is LXG – League of Extraordinary Gamers, Bangalore. Amongst the four teams, the one winning team will get an all expense paid trip to Shanghai for the Grand Finale. Here, the prize pool is 100,000 USD.

Here is the coherent schedule:

  • Online Qualifiers: 11th to 27th August
  • India LAN finals: 23th to 24th September
  • Shanghai LAN finals: 16th to 22nd October

The Grand Finale, called eXTREMESLAND ZOWIE Asia CS:GO 2017, will feature matches played on the all new XL2546 240Hz monitors. The event will also feature the newly the Celeritas II keyboard.
