Batman: Arkham City

Arkahm City, the sequel to the 2009 hit Arkham Asylum, brings you a free-to-roam Arkham City. The game features both DirectX 9 and DirectX 11 rendering paths, with support for tessellation, multi-view soft shadows, and ambient occlusion. Arkham City is based on Unreal Engine 3.

The theoretically faster Radeon HD 7950 is faster than most GeForce GTX 660 Ti boards in our Arkham City test runs. This is the first time we’ve seen the 7950 surpass its competitor. This is also surprising because Arkham City is part of nVidia’s The Way It’s Meant To Be Played program. The GTX 670 remains the winner here. Zotac’s 660 Ti is coming off with some nice surprises, even surpassing the MSI board, which is significantly overclocked to higher clock speeds.

The EVGA card’s performance has been dismal, considering its higher price tag than all the 660 Ti boards mentioned here.
