Total War: Shogun 2

In the latest installment of the Total War franchise, it’s amazing how the game manages to put an insane number of units on your screen at a particular point in time. This game brings most GPUs to their knees. It’s the single most punishing benchmark on our list, demanding not only a powerful GPU but an equally powerful CPU.

Once again, the GTX 660 Ti cards shine. We’ve been getting doubts about how much the extra bandwidth on the GTX 670 really matters, at this point of time. Either the current games aren’t programmed to make use of the extra bandwidth, or this could just have something to do with the drivers. Battlefield 3 was the exception, though.

MSI once again leads the 660 Ti charts, with Gigabyte falling behind, but not by much. Zotac’s higher clock speeds have failed to overcome both the cards. The MSI is actually a good 10 FPS ahead of the EVGA.
