IPL Cricket Fever 2013 has been one of the popular games among the Indian mobile gamers, recently. The game, with its biggest selling point being Cricket, has been around for a bit, and has caught up well with many IPL followers. Without wasting time, let’s start with our review of this game. Screenshot_2013-10-05-14-47-40 Screenshot_2013-10-05-14-49-01 As soon as you start the game and register your username, you are given three options to choose from — Single mode, Multiplayer, and visit the game’s Store. Which game mode you choose, you are then given option to choose the number of overs you want per innings — one, three, five or full twenty. On your first batting or bowling attempt, you are given a good tutorial on how to go about doing your job. The controls are taught quite thoroughly, and you can check them later, too. The gameplay is pretty standard as most other Cricket games on a mobile device. While batting, you decide the direction in which the batsman plays his shot, the timing of playing and then running later. You can buy coins in the game in order to improve upon your batsman’s power, timing. Whenever a six, four, or a wicket falls, cheerleaders are all up with a track playing just like in your IPL games, you can opt to skip the cheeleading part, though, but this does mix well with the game’s overall theme. Screenshot_2013-10-05-19-34-08 Screenshot_2013-10-05-14-54-23 Screenshot_2013-10-05-14-51-20 All nine IPL teams are present and you can choose whichever you like, plus, there are some big names in the playing lists too. Your game is to, of course, win every challenge, but you can also challenge again if you want to after a loss. The gameplay seems mostly simple and the whole scene in the game looks okay. In the mutiplayer mode, you can check your ranking, play alongside other players and try to keep your teamplayers’ performance better than your opponents’. Overall, the game runs smoothly, but I did find the controls take a noticeable time when you are trying to run more than one run, which led to a few run outs in our case. Having said that, I also found controls just a little less responsive while selecting power or timing. You just had to second guess, but it’s present. Screenshot_2013-10-05-14-54-29 Screenshot_2013-10-05-14-50-03 Talking about the game’s graphics, I found them decent and colourful. The teams’ dresses are well coloured, differentiated from each other, and appear just like one would hope it does in a mobile game. On the field side, there isn’t too much to be happy about. The graphics during a match come out just average. You can spot a few pixels once in a while, especially when in motion and more so during running. Mostly smooth otherwise, the developers, looking at the game’s ranking, could really do with a bit of work on the graphics side, and may even add allow for a graphiti on the grounds. Just to make it more real. Good thing that the game shows you actual player images when choosing a challenge and tells you their score there. About the game’s sounds, they are definitely a plus point. Realistic, engaging sometimes, they certainly work. As soon as a match starts, you are greeted with the usual crown noise we get to hear in a big international match. Nice addition, I must say. The only downside, and understandably so, is that there’s no continuous commentary while the play is on. You only get to hear commentators, repeating from a set of lines including some well-known Cricket cliches, just when the ball has been played. All in all, IPL Cricket Fever is a good game, and well worth for an IPL fan. You can download this for free on Android and iOS (lite).

  1. I love IPL Cricket Fever game very much.
But since 1 January 2015, the level of the player remains unchanged.
It has to increase step by step that is not happening.
Is there any problem with the server or the period of game is over ?
