Kingston is getting ready to launch its high-performance HyperX Savage SSD in India. The drive would be available in 120GB, 240GB, 480GB and 960GB sizes. This is their fastest HyperX SATA-based SSD. HyperX Savage SSD is powered by a quad-core, 8-channel Phison S10 controller that delivers speeds of up to 560MB/s read and 530MB/s write, with read/write IOPS up to 100k/89k. Such fast read-write speeds offer responsive multitasking, quicker loading and an overall faster system that maintains performance even as the drive fills up.

A baseline performance for the read and write speed based on compressible data transfer is; 120GB — 560MB/s Read and 360MB/s Write; 240GB, 480GB, 960GB — 560MB/s Read and 530MB/s Write. The Dimensions of the drive are: 100.0mm x 69.9mm x 7.0mm. The Drive is very slim and should fits in most notebooks, desktops builds easily. The drive weighs: 120GB, 240GB, 480GB — 96g, 960GB — 92g. Average Life expectancy: 1 million hours (114.16 years) MTBF (Mean time between failures).

The SSD is also available with an all-in-one kit available with premium HyperX accessories, including a handy multi-kit screwdriver and USB 3.0 enclosure for easy installation.The international variant of the drive is covered with a three-year warranty and free technical support.
