Logitech India has announced the third edition of its eSports event “Logitech G – Free2Play” along with eSports Interactive Entertainment, citing “promotion of culture of eSports in India” as the main reason, and due to the success of the second edition of the tournament, also held in Bangalore.

Tournaments will be hosted for Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2. The last Free2Play event, held in January also hosted tournaments for Call of Duty: Ghosts and League of Legends (LoL), which are missing in the third edition.

How do I register?

Online registrations for the tournament have begun on eSports Interactive Entertainment’s community forums and will be open till May 30, 2014. More details can be found at the event’s official Facebook page. Registration if free and open for all.

Up for grabs are cash prizes and Logitech G peripherals. At the January edition the total prize pool of the event was Rs. 1.5 lakh. The prize pool this time around Rs. 1.3 lakh cash and 10 Logitech G400 Gaming Mice.

The event will be broadcasted live on Twitch TV, in addition the Dota 2 matches can be watched in-game via Dota 2 TV. For those who can’t catch the tournament live, all the videos will be uploaded on eSports Interactive’s YouTube channel.
