SanDisk has today launched two new products in India — Dual USB Drive and Pro 3.0 USB drive.
The Ultra Dual USB drive, the more interesting gizmo of the two, is equipped with a microUSB port on one end, and a standard USB 2.0 port on the other hand. The drive is aimed at convenient data transfer between your PC and smartphone. Making use of your phone’s USB On-the-go feature, the drive provides up to 64 GB of storage space, with retractable ports for some protection. The drive comes with a five-year standard warranty has been priced at Rs. 1,199, and Rs. 3,800 for the 64 GB model.
On the other hand, SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.0 flash drive is a more traditional USB drive that boasts read speed of up to 260mb/s and write speed of up to 240 mb/s. With SanDisk’s own SecureAccess and password option in place, your data gets 128-bit AES encryption. Sporting 128 GB of storage space, this drive comes at Rs. 16,388.
