Titanfall is just a few days away from its much anticipated launch, and a certain someone has posted a rundown of what game modes the game will offer, and posted all of the game’s multiplayer maps on Reddit. The source cited is ‘anonymous’ and cannot be verified. VG247 suspects they must have come from either an official strategy guide or Respawn Entertainment’s art book.
Titanfall will feature five game modes:
- Attrition
- Capture the Flag
- Hardpoint Domination
- Last Titan Standing
- Pilot Hunter
Most modes are similar to the modes offered in your favourite multiplayer shooter, barring Pilot Hunter, which has teams fighting to reach a score limit. Killing grunts and spectres will reduce the time required for Titanfall, but won’t add to the scoreboard.
Other leaked Titanfall facts
- Just like Counter Strike has terrorists and counter-terrorirsts, Titanfall will have IMC and Militia factions.
- Each campaign match consists of five Attrition and five Hardpoint games.
- Every multiplayer campaign has a story which will be briefed before the match starts.
- Every multiplayer campaign will have a “surprise” event.
- Titanfall features 15 maps, nine of which are named Lagoon, Colony, Outpost 207, Demeter, Nexus, Colony 2, Airbase, Relic and Fracture. Names of the remaining six maps are unknown as of now. (Pictures of maps below)
Titanfall releases in India on the 14th of March, 2014 for the PC and Xbox 360. Game4u has started offering pre-order bundles for the game.
