Ubisoft announced that Trials Frontier will be receiving its biggest update to date with Frostpocalypse. The content update will bring new winter environment with sixteen new tracks that are ready to be traversed in addition to the 10 worlds and over 70 unique tracks, which are already available. Fight the chill with a new outfit for your two new characters, while high-tailing it with an all-new bike.

Trials Frontier is a free-to-play mobile title from RedLynx. You can read our impressions of the game when we reviewed it. You can also check out our coverage of the desktop variant of the game called Trials Fusion. Trials Frontier Ubisoft’s physics based bike game, and has grown over the months with a large base of players, ever increasing by the way.

Along with icing over its new winter tracks there will be a month long in-game event. During the event you will be able to unlock new gameplay systems. Ubisoft detailed the events of the first week where you can collect items in order to help the Sun God for his changing-season ritual by riding over kindling and smashing snowman heads. There is new competitive options in the form of Blitz mode while PvP continues with a new season titled ‘Season of the Donkey’. Competing on weekly Arctic Leaderboard will give you a chance to earn rewards like Limited edition paint jobs.

Taking place in the distant future (like Trials Fusion), where players find themselves as a newcomer in a run-down town that’s desperate for a hero. Players can practice their skills, learn how to race, flip and cruise through tracks as they earn new gear for their bikes and complete missions for the townsfolk in order to prepare for a face-off with the town villain, Butch. As players progress through the game, they unlock new maps, tracks, bikes and fine-tune their racing skills.
