Pocket Gamer has concluded, leaving a few very happy indie developers. Xigma Games is one of them as they just won INR 10 Lakh (1 million) as the first prize at the first ever Reliance Games Pocket Gamer in Bangalore.

Bangalore, 16 April 2015 – The event took off at Hotel Lalit Ashok in the morning as many finalists waited eagerly for the announcement of the results from The Very Big Indie Pitch. 22 games managed to reach the finlas. Before the Finals in April at Pocket Gamer Connects, Bangalore, Game Hack travelled to six cities from Bangalore to Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi & Mumbai to provide a stage to over 200 Indie Studios (1500+ developers) and tech students from 70+ colleges in India. As the event started on the 16th, the Big Indie Pitch was the key highlight of Day 1. Here one developer had a chance to win global publicity, investments and publishing contracts all along with a cash prize of Rupees Ten Lakhs, with an added opportunity to be incubated at the Reliance Games studio.

Super Nano Jumpers will be released as a free-to-play game on Android later this year, with additional level packs available at an additional cost. An iOS version is expected later.
