Yesterday Halo fans were given a first look at Halo Nightfall, a live action series produced by Ridley Scott. If that was not enough, today 343 industries dropped some new details about Halo: Master Chief Collection. A new trailer was released, highlighting the visual fidelity of new cutscenes that players will experience in Halo 2 Anniversary.
The cutscenes are being done by popular Hollywood CGI company Blur Studio, they were also responsible for CGI cutscenes in Halo 4 and the launch trailer for the game. The cutscenes look gorgeous and match the visual quality of the game as well.
Besides the trailer 343 industries also revealed that ‘Zanzibar’ will be getting revamped visuals. ‘Zanzibar’ joins ‘Ascension’ and ‘Coagulation’ as the third of six re-imagined Halo 2 multiplayer maps found in Halo Master Chief Collection. Microsoft also hinted that next map will be revealed during Gamescom in August.
