Intel recently introduced its professional line of graphics processor units (GPUs) known as the Intel® ArcTM Pro A-series. The initial models are the Intel Arc Pro A30M GPU for mobile form factors and the Intel Arc Pro A40 (single slot) and A50 (dual slot) GPUs for compact desktops. These devices feature machine learning capabilities, and pre-installed ray tracing hardware. It also comes with AV1 hardware encoding acceleration.

In addition to being tailored for media and entertainment applications like Blender, these GPUs can run the open source libraries included in the Intel oneAPI Rendering Toolkit. These open source libraries are extensively used and incorporated into the industry’s top rendering tools.
