The Motif II ANC is a truly wireless pair of earbuds that support Active Noise Cancellation for a noise free commute. Claimed to offer 30 hours of playtime, the Motif II ANC comes in a nifty little battery case that easily fits the pocket. The battery life is claimed to be 10 hours longer than its predecessor.
The 30 hours of playtime include the charge received from the casing. Without the casing, the Motif II earbuds are rated at 6h hours of wireless playtime. A quick charge of 15 mins gives the Motif II an hour worth of playtime.
Bluetooth LE: Auracast and LC3 Technology
The Motif II will support Bluetooth LE technology. This is the latest technology in the Bluetooth spectrum and enables better performance of audio, adds support for heading aids and introduces Auracast broadcast audio. Auracast technology enables an audio source device to broadcast one or more audio stream to an unlimited number of audio link devices. This allows the user to share their audio with other. Classic Audio operates on the Bluetooth Classic radio while LD Audio operates on the Bluetooth Low Energy Radio.
LE Audio also has support for LC3 (Low Complexity Communications Codec) Codec which allows for high-quality, low-power audio even at lower bitrates. The higher the bitrate, the more the requirement of power by the audio device, so LC3 makes the the process much more efficient.
