One undesirable side effect of playing video games for insane number of hours is the wear and tear of controller. Let’s face it, we’ve all faced the problem of replacing our controllers momentarily. For some fierce gamers it can last up to as less as 3 months, while the average sits at around 18 months. An expensive ordeal considering how expensive a new controller by Sony is.
Well that is about to change now, with the DualSense Edge controller.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has finally launched the much awaited new-generation controller for the PlayStation 5, the DualSense Edge wireless controller. DualSense Edge is the most high-end, high-performance, and with that, most expensive controller for PlayStation 5 by Sony so far.
The DualSense Edge Controller features a long list of hardware and software-based customization options for creating a highly personalized controller experience.
Cutting to the chase, think of the DualSense Edge as Sony’s take on the Xbox Elite controller, which was launched way back in 2015. Here is the official DualSense Edge reveal trailer.

Swappable and Customizable Buttons and Sticks
Not only can you swap out the stick caps, you can replace the entire stick module. There will be 3 types of stick that Sony will release: high dome, low dome and standard. For example, you can one set to suit you in FPS shooters, and the other to play FIFA or a racing game.
