Origin Marketing Pvt. Ltd, the Mumbai based company that is the distributor of Milestone (the developer that just launched MGXP: The Official Motorcross Videogame) and titles such as the Sniper Elite series has recently announced that it will launch 3 Nordic Games titles in India.
The three titles are:
- Darksiders Collection
- Red Faction Collection
- Painkiller – Hell & Domination
This also brings hope of future Nordic titles to launch in India timely, unlike the case in the past. It is still not clear whether Origin will distribute all of Nordic’s games, since currently they have announced just 3 titles in the Nordic lineup.
Origin Marketing is also the distributor for Audio Technica headphones and Mad Catz gaming accessories. They were the distributors of Konami in the past, till Konami decided to shift to eXpress, the distributors of Ubisoft, Take2, Namco Bandai etc.
After their loss of the Konami account, it was uncertain whether Origin Marketing would come back in the video game titles business, but with the inclusion of Nordic Games, it seems Origin Marketing is willing to hold on its profile.
