Among the sleuths of esports tournaments coming up in India, Reliance Digital has announced its very competition called Digital Level Up.
The tournament will feature BGMI and Valorant competitions that will take place online on Reliance’s JioGames app. The prize pool for the tournament is Rs. 20 lakh. The tournament will run from September till the end of October and will even feature Streamer Showdown and a Cosplay Competition.
The event is partnered with OMEN, Intel India and HyperX. We recently reviewed the OMEN 16, the latest laptop with Intel’s 13th Gen CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 GPU.
Schedule for the Digital Level Up challenge
· Valorant and BGMI registrations – September 1st, 2023 to 10th September
· Tournament Dates:
>>BGMI – September 13th, 2023
>>Valorant (Open Tournament) – September 17th, 2023
>>Valorant (College only) – September 5th, 2023 to October 7th, 2023
· Grand finale:
>> BGMI – October 2nd, 2023
>> Valorant (College and Open Tournament) – October 8th, 2023
· Streamer Showdown: End of October
· Cosplay Competition: End of October
How to register for Digital Level Up
- Download the JioGames app on iOS or Android
- Valorant players need to register here, and BGMI players need to register here.
- Open to anyone above 13 years of age
- No registration and participation fee
Reliance Games is willing to cash in the recent surge of esports in country. India’s gaming population currently stands around 390 million (39 crore), a majority of the group being in the 18 – 30 years age group, the most sought after group by advertisers.
