PC Gaming as we know it is on a rise, and Nvidia has been pretty much spearheading this trend. To celebrate PC gaming and build up the hype, Nvidia has announced the GAME24 event. This 24 hour event will be streamed live from Los Angeles, London and Shanghai on the 18th of September (19th in India).

Nvidia posted a list of the things that will happen at GAME24: major product announcements, exclusive partner interviews with Epic, Ubisoft, Blizzard etc, secret training programs of eSports professional teams (Dota Championship winners EG  and Alliance will be there too).

They’ll also apparently attempt to ‘shatter’ two gaming World Records.

Stop teasing, will ya
There is something funny about Nvidia’s official announcement of the event though. “Join us online or in person* at our main event in Los Angeles, CA or one of our satellite events and be prepared to take the 19th off. ”

It seems Nvidia is teasing something, a product announcement, another event, it can be anything. Why else would they want to “take the 19th off.”

Just curious. Should we expect a big announcement on the 19th, which is tomorrow?

Gatecrashers
Remember AMD’s recent #AMD30Live webcast event? AMD claims that Nvidia’s GAME24 is inspired by it. Read this official AMD statement:

No one appreciates a good celebration of gaming more than AMD, as evidenced by our recent #AMD30Live webcast and the warm and humbling reception the event received from the enthusiast community.
In that spirit, we’re intrigued that another graphics products company jumped on the #AMD30Live bandwagon this week by announcing a similar event on September 18th and 19th, called #Game24.

On the same announcement, AMD has asked it’s ‘Red Team’, which basically means AMD and Radeon fanboys (or girls), to gatecrash the Nvidia GAME24 event in red T-shirts. AMD has openly requested its Red Team to post pictures of themselves in red T-shirts while at the event and tag them to @AMDRadeon. Looks like the fanboy rivalry is getting manufacturer backing now.

So will you be going there as team green or as Team Red, or just as an enthusiast of gaming?
