Watch Dogs PS3 & PS4 Bundles Also Announced
In an official press release sent yesterday, Sony and Ubisoft announced that Watch Dogs will release with exclusive content for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners. The exclusive content will feature:
- Four extra missions, representing one hour of exclusive gameplay
- ‘White Hat’ Hacker Outfit for the game’s protagonist, Aiden Pearce
Ubisoft released a video detailing the exclusive content:
The extra missions feature a deeper insight of DedSec, a key and powerful faction in the Watch Dogs universe. On completion of the missions, Superior Capacity, a Hacking Boost that grants players an additional Battery Slot is unlocked.
The exclusive content, while certainly a bonus of PlayStation owners, is nothing special, and this shouldn’t stop Xbox owners from repenting. This is gimmicky marketing pulled off by Ubisoft and Sony to promote the game.
Watch Dogs releases worldwide on the 27th of May, 2014 for PS4, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows.
