Bonfire!! I need to find one right now. Oh no, I still have to fight these slimy frogs, and I have no idea how they attack. Aaaahhh!! A surprise attack! Get up, get up, get up!! FAAAST!!  *dodge roll*………*run*….no idea where I’m running. *stop and try to fight*. Huh!! what’s this bar with a skull sign? Well they don’t really attack but what’s this smoke? *bar fills* and… I’M CURSED! D’:

Well, I’m not going to spoil it by telling you what happens when you’re cursed, but let me warn you. AVOID IT!!

I’ll first talk about Demon’s Souls, which is Dark Souls’ predecessor. Well, after playing Demon’s Souls, I think every gamer should own one. Because PC and Xbox 360 gamers are missing something BIG! It’s the most difficult game I’ve ever played. Everything about the game is so unique. The gameplay, music, graphics, controls, weapons, armor, sorcery… it’ll never end. There’s no way you can easily finish the game because it’s so bloody intimidating and challenging, and the best part? It’s extremely addictive! You will die a lot. But it’s so rewarding, no matter how many times you die, you’d still want to play. But there’s one flaw that is frustrating. Death affects your gameplay in big ways. And I’m so glad they removed that from Dark Souls. Anyway, I didn’t have trouble finishing Dark Souls because Demon’s Souls taught me so much.

Dark Souls now. :D This game will suck you in. Everything about this game is WAY better than its predecessor. Best game EVER! Dark Souls’ beautiful, dark, and dangerous world will affect you for sure. You will feel lonely even when you spend time with your family, if you do that is. So many unique and devastating weapons, armors, and items And you have to work really hard to get the special ones. I love the weapon and armor upgrade system in the game. It takes a lot of work to collect shards and souls for upgrading. The most important thing everyone must know Say you collect 30000 souls, which took you an hour, and then you die. You lose everything, but there’s still some hope to get it back. You fight your way through and go back to the spot where you were killed and collect it there, but if you die before collecting your souls, then you lose everything. You will fall in love with “Bonfire.” It’s almost like a save point where you upgrade, level up, and attune magic and miracles you buy from NPCs. I think the difficulty makes this game very interesting, and all you need is patience. If you have no patience, don’t play! Any mistake in this game is a big mistake, and you need to be patient enough to wait for New Game +.

The Dark Souls covenant system is amazing, but it’s not easy to reach them all as this game is obviously not easy. But again, when you do join one, you get its benefits, like miracles, amazing weapons, and some covenant specific items so you can invade worlds (online). The Dark Souls online feature is very exciting too, where you invade worlds depending on what covenant you join, fight players all over the world, and improve your skills. You can also help players fight difficult bosses. And if you’re having a difficult time defeating a boss, you can summon players to help you too.

I finished the game three times and still want to play because there’s so much more to do. I’m on New Game +++. And now I hardly die because I was patient in the beginning and also because of the demon’s souls. Get it if you can.

The PC version of this game is out and is called “Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition.” Its true. Be prepared!! The PC version has new levels, weapons, armor, and some deadly boss fights, which will be available as DLC on the PS3 and Xbox 360 this winter.

This game is something new for everyone, and I seriously recommend it. Please don’t die before playing this magnificent game. This game is perfectly balanced and full of surprises. You will have really bad days but also good days because this is the most rewarding game on earth. In my opinion, this is the game of the year. Lifetime probably.
