2. There are have 2 more announcements that have fans both exited and disappointed. 3. Those seeing alternatives to this in the more comical fantasy Wildstar with its no linear progess and colonization tasks on the alien planet were also informed that to keep all the content available and provide a good service to all the game would also follow a subscription model.

It is due to note that both these models have great hype surrounding them and may manage to pull off the task at first, but if Star wars: the old republic has taught is anything it’s that when you do go free to play, just make sure you don’t screw it up like them.[divider]

4. But there’s hope for those who wallet seems to be getting lighter with the new games. World of Warcraft (WOW) may be considering going free to play in the future. They are not worried about the free to play part but rather the transaction to go there as they do not want to put off old fans of the series but this move. With their next project Titan expected to be a free title and the trading card game Heartstone heroes of warcraft (currently in closed beta, US only), Blizzard may be very serious about their next gen titles as free to play.

About me: A collector, I hunt for stuff that was missed. I’m the guy who goes into a music store and asks the staff if they have some secret music cd in the backroom storage closet. My life ticks away while I watch anime, reading fictional novels or stalk Wikipedia for information completely useless to me.
