Hitman: Absolution, having rejuvenated the Hitman franchise (sales of Hitman: Contracts and Blood Money spiked after the release of Absolution), has grown the base of Hitman fans by moving on to the current generation of gamers. Square Enix has responded well by announcing Hitman: HD Trilogy, slated to release on January 28th, which is basically the old Hitman games in HD.
