Cross-gen titles generally do away with ultra high requirements for PCs, and Watch Dogs is no different.

Creative Director for Watch Dogs, Jonathan Morin posted the game’s minimum PC specs on Twitter:

  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 2.66Ghz or AMD Phenom II X4 940 3.0Ghz
  • Memory: 6GB RAM
  • Video card: 1024 VRAM DirectX 11 Shader 5.0
  • Sound Card: DirectX9
  • Hard drive: 25 GB

These are the ‘minimum’ PC requirements and not the ‘recommended’ requirements. This spec will get the game running, but without the graphical bells and whistles. We’ll have to wait and see what the recommended requirements are.

Watch Dogs finally has a confirmed release date, and is slated to launch on the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 on May 27th, 2014.
