Video games and accessories retail chain Games The Shop, seen in the malls of Mumbai, Thane, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune and Ahmedabad has launched its very own online e-store, www.gamestheshop.com.
Games The Shop, established in 2009 and India’s first specialist game retailer, is run by mega games distributor eXpress Interactive Software.
The e-store currently features retail games for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PSP, PS-Vita, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. It also features console bundles. The PS4 console is being offered in various bundles including Thief, Assassin’s Creed and Metal Gear Solid V. The website offers free delivery across India.
The website plans to add more features like pre-owned sales, trade-in and digital downloads ‘soon.’

With eXpress going online, the options us Indians have in shopping for games online are plenty. There’s obviously FlipKart and Game4u. Amazon India seems to be fuelling its online video game retailing aggressively. Well, as far as the consumer is concerned, the more, the merrier!
