The first annual MomoCon Indie Game Awards is all set to take place from May 28 – 31, 2015 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. For the gamers who want to see the action, but cannot make it to the event, a live stream of the ceremony can be watched on May 29th at 2:30 AM IST on MomoCon’s Twitch channel.
MomoCon also revealed the Indie Game Awards Finalists. From a pool of more than 120 game entries 20 Indie games were chosen. These titles will be playable for the attendees at MomoCon 2015. Out of these, five winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at MomoCon on Saturday, May 30, 2015. Developers of those titles will receive a $1000 cash prize, 10 x 20 Exhibit Space and a dedicated panel at MomoCon 2016. They highlighted placement in the MomoCon newsletter. Add a glass trophy to flaunt their success.

MonoCon 2014 saw 15,000 visitors. This 4 day event features Japanese Anime, American Animation, Comics, Video Games, and Tabletop Games. Fans celebrate their passion by costuming / cosplay, browsing the huge exhibitors hall, meeting celebrity voice talent, designers, and writers behind their favorite shows, games, and comics and much much more. MomoCon started off in 2004 as a college campus event by, then students at Georgia Tech, Jessica Merriman and Chris Stuckey. MomoCon has grown from a 700 person on campus event to filling up a large convention center in the southeast United States for fans of video games, animation, Cosplay, comics and tabletop games.
