One thing we can all agree on and admit is that playing games on PC/console is still a fun experience, no matter the full-scale success of mobile games. To make the most of it, Ubisoft has yet again come up with another PC game for gamers with Skull and Bones. It recently revealed the game’s full potential along with its features and anti-cheat software.
In Skull and Bones, players explore the enormous and realistic open-sea landscape inspired by the Indian Ocean during the Golden Age of Piracy with climbing their way to the top as the ultimate goal. PC players will be able to personalise their experience to their needs and enjoy a wide selection of settings and features as they embark on their pirate adventure.
Featured Highlights of the Game
4K HDR and Uncapped FPS
The game is available in 4K HDR to offer an immersive experience to the player so that they can get involved in the game completely. A concern for the guardians but a boon for the players! To reduce the input lag while playing the game, something we all have experienced and disliked, Ubisoft provides uncapped FPS to accentuate the experience of playing naval battles.
DLSS and FSR
There has been an upscaling of the images to present the players with high-quality images and descriptive gameplay via DLSS, FSR, and ray tracing capabilities. To know more about DLSS, check this out. One can easily get completely immersed in the game by customising it as per their own style and choice.

Tons of Online Optimisations and Anti-Cheat Solutions
With the feature of Player Tooling, the system will set players on the servers as per their Infamy levels and PvP choices to initiate multiple-player gaming. Players can also report or block anyone if they experience any obnoxious behavior from their fellow players.
There are powerful servers that run at full scale during the periods of high activity to reduce wait times due to a powerful companionship of cloud servers and flexible backup. There are dedicated servers of Ubisoft in North and South America, Europe, Asia, South Africa, and Oceania.
For the anti-cheat solution offered by Ubisoft, there is BattlEye, which inspects the game on a real-time basis. Those players are instantly banned who play foul and are found out to be using any cheats to gain an undue advantage.
Skull and Bones Official Release Date
Skull and Bones will be playable on the Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation®5, Stadia, and Windows PC from the 8th of November onwards. It can be purchased via the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store.
