The recently concluded Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament by KRAFTON, on December 8th, witnessed an impressive turnout of 1,300 participants from various Indian cities. Among the top 11 cities with the highest participation were Hyderabad (459 players), Visakhapatnam (172 players), Bengaluru (160 players), Chennai (129 players), Vijayawada (84 players), Pune (53 players), Delhi (48 players), Ahmedabad (44 players), Kolkata (29 players), Guntur (22 players), and Mumbai (around 20 players). All matches were streamed live on YouTube, attracting a total of 1,26,087 views.
Dignity eSports clinch the Championship
The championship title went to Team Dignity eSports from Rajasthan and Mumbai, with Team Bro from Bengaluru securing the second spot and Team Turbo from Andhra Pradesh claiming third place.
This tournament, marking String Metaverse‘s strategic entry into the Indian gaming market, drew the participation of over 300 teams nationwide, boasting a prize pool of ₹1,00,000 and spotlighting the remarkable talent within the esports community.
