Gone is the era when the Crysis series maintained it’s graphical superiority in video games. The throne has been dethroned. The crown has been passed on.

Yes, the game we’re talking about is Tom Clancy’s The Division. Ubisoft has released a 3 minute long tech demo for the game, detailing the Snowdrop engine the game uses. Snowdrop is a new engine developed by Massive, and Ubisoft has placed its bets on it. Check it out, the sheer level of detailing is insane. Accompanying the tech demo, Ubisoft also released an enlightening Q&A for the game, where it talks about next-generation gaming, the Snowdrop engine and its features.

The Division will feature the craziest detailing, from weather effects to lighting to destruction. They also swear that The Division will feature the most life-like digital representation of New York City (Hello, GTA IV). Check out the screenshots (click to enlarge), and tell us how beautiful they are!
