Screen Shot 2014-01-03 at 2.27.00 PMIndia’s most celebrated Bollywood movie, Sholay (1975) has released today on the much awaited 3D format across the country and worldwide. The making of Sholay 3D required a massive team of 350 people, cost Rs. 25 crore (US $3.8 million) and took an astounding time period of 3 years.

Accompanying Sholay 3D, publisher Hungama Digital Entertainment and developer Gameshastra Solutions have released Sholay: Bullets of Justice, a game available on Android, iOS, Java and Facebook.

The game features the iconic heroes of Sholay, Jai (portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan) and Veeru (portrayed by Dharmendra) as playable characters. Even Baldev Thakur, the iconic ‘no-arms’ disabled retired cop is featured in the game.

Sholay: Bullets of Justice is an action/adventure game and will feature locales from Ramgarh such as Ramgarh Village, Ramgarh Station, and also Gabbar’s Hideout. You can play the game as either Jai or Veeru, and are supposed to take out dacoits in a moving good trains.
