Crysis 3

Here are our results for Crysis 3. We kept all settings to the highest possible.

cry3aftWe’ve included the GTX 690 in our tests, just so that our readers can get a basic view on how these single card configurations compare with dual card configurations. All over, we still think that a single card configuration in this day and age is more than enough, even if you’re playing at extremely high Blu-Ray resolutions. A dual card configuration not only consumes more power, but also complicates things due to driver issues and scalability.cry399We can clearly see from both the above results that the GTX 780 performs almost the best, second only to the GTX Titan, but not by much. The HD 7970 performs the worse, and is edged out by the previous gen GTX 680 in average frame time.cry3fpsAnalysing the average FPS, although the 780 beats the GTX 680 by almost 40%, we can see that it is pretty behind the Titan. According to the performance numbers, Nvidia’s pricing, although kind of high for both the GPUs, is still justified performance wise.

  1. These Graphics card reviews are really great! You should look into perhaps chronicling a PC build, on a fixed budget. As in, “Gaming PC build: for under Rs 50,000” or something. That would be cool!

    • Thanks for the suggestion. We are working on a guide, stay tuned! That being said, with so variety of hardware options available to the buyer, with Rs. 50,000 you can really build a beefy PC.
