The Valorant Challengers Series South Asia was announced in late February 2023. It will be hosted by NODWIN Gaming and Riot Games. NODWIN Gaming also recently also partnered with Kingfisher for the India Premiership 2023. The Indian e-sports startup also hosted the Valorant Conquerors Championship in 2022.
The Valorant Challengers Series provided an open platform for Valorant players in India to compete and qualify for the main event. A total of 10 teams were selected and will battle it out against each other for a slice of the prize pool worth ₹1,15,00,000 (₹1.15 Cr). The winning team will secure the largest share of this massive prize pool.
Loco, an independent esports and live streaming platform, which recently got 100 million plus views at the BGMI Masters Series 2022, has been announced as the official streaming partner in India for the Valorant Challenger Series South Asia.
For the first time, the tournament will be broadcasted in both Hindi and English.

A total of 10 teams will take part in the main event. The teams are split into two groups. Group A includes Velocity Gaming, Gods Reign, GodLike Esports, True Rippers Esports, MLT Esports. Group B will feature Orangutan, Reckoning Esports, Lethal Esports, Aster Army, and Medal Esports.
A Success Story for Indian and South Asian Esports
India has the maximum representation at the Valorant Challenger Series South Asia, with 57% of the players being India. The second is Bangladesh at 19%, followed by Pakistan at 12%. Philippines and Sri Lanka come next with 5%, with Nepal and Vietnam taking the 1% each.
