COLORFUL Battle-Ax Redline DDR4 and DDR5

It’s raining DDR5 memory kits. Now that Intel 13th-gen and AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs have entered the mainstream, DDR5 memory is poised to be the de-facto default choice for PC builders.

Battle-Ax Redline DDR5 Gaming Memory

COLORFUL, the Taiwanese computer components manufacturer has announced their own line of DDR5 and DDR4 high performance RAM kits. The new kits go by the name of COLORFUL Battle-Ax Redline, and include gaming memory that go upto a frequency of 6000Mhz and quick latency of CL30. This line is meant for the latest Z790 and Z690 platform for Intel and the B550 and B650 platform for AMD.

The Battle-Ax Redline memory modules will have a low-profile heat spreader to make it accommodate large air and water cooling systems. They will feature aggressive styling.

COLORFUL Battle-Ax Redline DDR4 and DDR5 Gaming Memory

These memory kits will support Intel’s latest XMP3.0 and AMD EXPO, that allow for multiple pre-configured frequencies and overclocking profiles. The memory kits will be available in 32GB (2x16GB) and 16GB (2x8GB) kits.

Pricing and Availability

So far no indication has been given for pricing. Expect the DDR5 32GB to cost around ₹ 15,000, which is around where most of the competition is placed. Availability of the Battle-Ax Redline RAM will be around April 2023, as per COLORFUL.
