The 24FPS International Animation Awards 2012, held on the 7th of December in Mumbai, India, and organized by MAAC (Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics), recognize and reward animators, game designers, and programmers across the Indian Subcontinent. In its ninth edition, the awards this year, recognized achievements in international animation, VFX, and gaming.

The “Best Game Design” Award, one of the most prestigious of all awards, went this year to Wolverine Mutant Armageddon, a Java-based mobile-phone game developed by DisneyUTV’s Indiagames. Want to know more about the game? Pull your socks up. We’ll be doing a review of it soon, so stay tuned.
