FIFA 14 is just a few days from release, and trust me I understand how wrist-clenching the wait has been. And that also means that these are just the last few days with FIFA 13. FIFA 14 is looking awesome, but that doesn’t change the fact that FIFA 13 is still loved and enjoyed by millions. It deserves a goodbye, to say the least.
In tribute to all the awesomeness that FIFA 13 was, Glued Entertainment, Noida (Delhi-NCR) is hosting the FIFA Fiesta on the 22nd of September, just five days before the FIFA 14 launch. The FIFA Fiesta is a day long event that will feature a FIFA 13 tournament with cash prizes for the winner and runner up (Rs. 7000 and Rs. 4000) plus goodies. The tournament starts at 11 AM and the registration fee is Rs. 500.
Along with the tournament, there will be FIFA presentations, shoutouts and ‘Football Freestylin.’ The highly anticipated derby Manchester City vs Manchester United takes place the same day, which you can catch on the projector screens at Glued.
Glued is a recently opened “entertainment and gaming arena” in Noida, and features snooker, pool, bowling, and obviously, console gaming. A dedicated FIFA gaming zone called the FIFA Lounge regularly hosts local FIFA tournaments. The icing on the cake is that it stays open till 3 AM.
