Zootr Sports, a Bangalore based IT company has recently launched a browser based predictor game called Matchup Cricket.
The game can be accessed via the game’s official website, and is fully responsive, which means you can access it via your mobile phone or tablet browser, apart from your laptop/desktop computer.
Matchup Cricket works in a simple way, select a live match to play, and predict the result of the next ball before the timer expires.
Each correct prediction gets you points, and your cumulative points collected is your final result. Players with the highest points get a chance to win a custom-made leather ball, custom backpack or tickets to the IPL 2014 matches. More details on prizes here.
If there is no live match, you can choose to play the classic mode, which replays any match of the past as the scenario. Points earned in the classic mode do not qualify for winning the prizes. Only playing with live games does.
Matchup Cricket supports Multiplayer, and you can invite your friends to join you during a live match. It’s more fun that way. I played it while watching the IPL last night on my phone along with my colleague. The competition ended with him leading out in the end by a narrow margin. It was fun!
Setting up the game is easy, just visit the website and log-in using your Google account, and you’re good to go.

Thanks Sidharth for a detailed review of the app!
Guys, would love to hear your feedback, criticism & love on the app! Do try it out !!
Nice app but sometimes results are later than realtime so we can easily predict the scores but it is rare.
Thanks Anikait for trying out the app. Yes, for spinners sometimes there is very limited time. We’re working on a fix to get this sorted! Enjoy the points while you can !!
Which all platforms will it be available( mobiles ) android, ios and windows phone. Will an app for Windows 8 Pc and tablets come any time soon
Its a desktop / mobile optimized webapp – works great on any HTML5 based browser. Android app is in the works, beyond that very much depends on the adoption :)
What would you prefer generally?
I am hardcore Windows fan and I would love to see an app for Windows. I guess developing an app for Windows phone and Windows Pc is easier because of universal apps. So I will go with Windows but will definitely try the android version as well. Great Job guys keep up the good work
Cool! Thanks! We’ll be in touch.
You help us grow – will get the Windows apps out faster :D
