BUY SOUTH PARK: THE STICK OF TRUTH
Sick of UPlay? We are too.
Love Steam? We do too.
So this should be reason enough for us PC gamers to rejoice. Obsidian Entertainment, the developer behind Ubisoft’s upcoming South Park: The Stick of Truth today has confirmed on its Twitter account that the game won’t require Uplay.
Here’s the original tweet.

The game will also feature Steam achievements, which is awesome. It is still unclear whether Steam Trading Cards will be supported or not.
Two-thumbs up to Ubisoft for the decision, while on the other hand Respawn Entertainment confirmed that Titanfall will require the miserable EA client ‘Origin.‘ Gah!
South Park: The Stick of Truth releases on the 4th of March for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
