NASSCOM has been consistently hosting India’s very own Game Developer Conference every year, and this year is no different, only bigger and better.
NASSCOM is looking for volunteers for this year’s GDC, to be held in Pune on the 15th and 16th of November.
All you need to do is visit this link, fill in the form with your contact details, your intent for volunteering, your previous volunteering experiences, and you’re good to go.
Don’t worry if you do not have any previous conference volunteering experience, all you need is a desire and a love for video games.
Volunteers get a free pass to the conference, a certificate of appreciation from NASSCOM for volunteering and some “awesome” goodies.
If you’re an aspiring game developer, or even if you just have a passion for video games, you should definitely give this a shot, as the GDC it is a perfect platform for networking with the right people with similar interests.
The GDC is also host to the exciting BYOG (Bring Your Own Game) competition, where students and aspiring game developers have to make their own game within the allotted time. You’ll be surprised to see how good these games are.
The confirmed speakers for this year’s event include Yoichi Wada (Chairman, Square Enix), Greg Barnett (Creative Director, Dhruva Interactive) and Julie Heyde (Founder, Bandello)
Last date for submission of volunteer forms is 10th October, 2013, so hurry up!
