Velocity Gaming Qualifies for VCT Ascension Pacific After Triumph at OMEN VCSA 2025

Gurugram, July 15, 2025 — Indian esports powerhouse Velocity Gaming has officially qualified for the prestigious VCT Ascension Pacific 2025, following a commanding 3–1 victory over S8UL Esports in the Grand Final of the OMEN VCSA 2025 Ascension Qualifiers. Held at Ardee Mall in Gurugram, the LAN finale marked a high point in South Asian VALORANT, drawing record viewership and setting the tone for India’s growing global presence in Riot’s tactical shooter.

Velocity’s Road to Bangkok

The LAN finale was the culmination of weeks of intense competition, with Velocity Gaming cruising through the upper bracket and S8UL fighting their way back from the lower bracket after defeating DOT EXE Esports 3–1. The finals were intense but decisive, with Velocity taking the best-of-five series 3–1 and earning the lion’s share of the ₹36.45 lakh prize pool—₹24.3 lakhs. S8UL walked away with ₹12.15 lakhs as the runner-up.

Velocity Gaming will now prepare to represent India at VCT Ascension Pacific, scheduled to take place from October 13–26, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand, where they will face top teams from across the Asia-Pacific region for a chance to earn promotion into the VCT Pacific League 2026.


A Showcase of South Asian Valorant’s Maturity

The OMEN VCSA 2025 LAN wasn’t just about the players—it was a celebration of the entire ecosystem. The event saw over 12 million views and crossed 50,000 peak concurrent viewers, making it one of the most-watched VALORANT tournaments in South Asia to date.

Held over multiple days with Hindi and English broadcasts, the event reached a wide, passionate audience and featured a creator showmatch with personalities like Sikhwarrior, Mackletv, Chhabra Saab, and Pooja Bisht, offering fans a rare crossover between competitive intensity and influencer entertainment.
