iQOO Launches Flagship BGMI LAN Tournament with ₹1 Crore Prize Pool

New Delhi, July 22, 2025 — In a major boost to India’s mobile esports landscape, performance smartphone brand iQOO has announced its largest-ever BGMI tournament: the iQOO Battlegrounds Series. With a prize pool of ₹1 Crore, the tournament will unfold in a hybrid format beginning July 21, culminating in a LAN finale in Delhi from August 8–10. The tournament is being executed by esports giant NODWIN Gaming.

A National Platform for Elite and Emerging Esports Talent

The iQOO Battlegrounds Series is structured to bridge grassroots talent with India’s elite BGMI rosters. 32 teams will participate in the qualifier rounds—including 31 invited teams and the winner of the iQOO Community Cup, which serves as a direct entry path for rising stars from the community level.

The tournament represents iQOO’s continued commitment to India’s gaming ecosystem. The brand, which entered the Indian market in 2020, has been an active supporter of esports initiatives and continues to align its identity with performance, speed, and technological innovation.

“This is more than a tournament—it’s our flagship esports IP,” said Nipun Marya, CEO, iQOO. “We aim to create a meaningful platform that celebrates the drive and passion of India’s top gamers. Esports is where performance and ambition intersect, and that aligns perfectly with iQOO’s vision.”

Grand LAN Finale to be Held in Delhi

The tournament will culminate in a high-energy LAN finale from August 8–10 in Delhi, where the top-performing teams from the qualifiers will compete for national supremacy. This finale is expected to attract a live audience, brand activations, and robust content engagement across social platforms, further cementing the role of LAN events in India’s evolving esports culture.

Strategic Collaborations Powering the Series

The execution of the tournament is being handled by NODWIN Gaming, a leading force in global esports. Co-founder Akshat Rathee emphasized that this event is not just a competitive showcase, but a step toward building a sustainable, inclusive esports ecosystem.

“This collaboration blends grassroots talent, world-class tournament execution, and performance-driven innovation,” said Rathee. “We see the iQOO Battlegrounds Series as a catalyst for long-term esports development in India.”

Also part of the initiative is Trinity Gaming, a key player in content-driven gaming partnerships. Co-founder Abhishek Aggarwal added, “This tournament merges competition, creators, and community under one umbrella. It’s a clear statement of where India’s esports is heading.”

iQOO: Gaming at Its Core

As gaming becomes a cornerstone of smartphone performance, iQOO’s devices—across the Flagship, Neo, and Z Series—have been optimized for high-speed, low-latency experiences. The company has reportedly integrated esports feedback directly into product development, further solidifying its relationship with the gaming community.
