A series of such magnitude presents golden opportunities for online gaming platforms to stream it live to offer an unmatched digital experience to the viewers. One of India’s live game streaming platforms, called Loco, took it upon itself to offer digital streaming of this series and it gathered close to about 100 million (10 crore) views. Pretty heavy numbers we must say! Loco has stated that they have provided viewers with a seamless experience, with streamers hosting watch parties to provide their own live take on the event; a live scoreboard that keeps fans up-to-date on the latest standings; access to streams in multiple Indian languages; and customised support stickers that users can send in chat.
