Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. shared its Fiscal Year 2015 Reports on the May 18, 2015 for the quater ending March 2015. In its detailed statement accompanying its fourth-quarter and full-year earnings for its 2015 fiscal year, Take-Two Interactive shared the numbers of some of its top selling games. The top 5 best selling titles were Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, NBA 2K15, WWE 2K15, Evolve and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
The report shared the sales numbers from two games. Their top performer, with no surprise, was GTA V. Grand Theft Auto V sold nearly 52 million units across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
Evolve, developed by Turtle Rock Studios, has sold approximately 2.5 million units to date on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Only 20 percent of all Evolve sales were digital. Turtle Rock will continue to support Evolve throughout the year with downloadable add-on content, including a Hunting Season Pass, as well as a companion App – Evolve: Hunters Quest.
Digital sales made up about 48% of Take-Two Interactive’s sales in the fourth quarter ended March 31. This is a 43% jump from last year. The Company also announced that it is planning to buy back about 10 million shares of Take-Two’s common stock. The company expects stronger revenue in the fiscal year ending March 2016.
Trends in consumer spending are highlighted as sales for DLC and in-game money in online games grew 47% over last year and and accounted for 54% of Non-GAAP net revenue from digitally-delivered content.
