JioBLAST and KRAFTON India have announced BGMI Gully Wars, a new BATTLEGROUNDS Mobile India (BGMI) tournament for grassroots and aspiring players. The two companies announced it in Mumbai on 21 September 2026. Anyone can enter, and the prize pool is ₹10 lakh.

The tournament runs under the tagline “APNA NAAM BANA”. It is open to players and teams from across India, and it is pitched at players who compete within their own squads and friend circles but have not yet had a way into organised competitive play.
Format and Key Dates
- Registration is open now and closes on 6 October.
- An in-game qualifier runs from 14 to 20 October.
- Several rounds after that narrow the field to 16 teams for the Grand Finals.
- The organisers have not yet given dates or a venue for the Grand Finals.
How to Register
Go to kraftonindiaesports.com and click the BGMI Gully Wars banner, or open the Tournaments section and select “Register Now”. New users need to sign up first. Existing users can log in with their registered credentials or with OTP verification. Tournament updates will go out on the JioBLAST and KRAFTON India Esports Instagram accounts.

About the Organisers
JioBLAST is a joint venture between the global esports company BLAST and RISE Worldwide Limited, which is wholly owned by Reliance Industries. It creates competitive entertainment formats for younger audiences.
KRAFTON India publishes BGMI, which has passed 260 million downloads. It also publishes Bullet Echo India, Road to Valor: Empires, CookieRun India and Real Cricket. The company runs the BGIS and BMPS esports tournaments. It says it has invested over $250 million in Indian startups since 2021, and it runs the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI).
