Halo: Spartan Assault’s story is placed somewhere between Halo 3 and Halo 4, with the plot revolving around the rise of commander Sarah Palmer, who is a part of the Spartan special ops program. The game will come as a top-down shooter with 25 missions and cloud saving capabilities, meaning you can save it on one device and continue on another.
There is a full achievement list on Xbox live and weekly challenges for rewards. The game uses an adaptive twin-stick touchscreen control system, meaning that when your thumbs glide up the screen, the circle pads move with them. Spartan Assault can be played using touchscreen controls, mouse and keyboard or even an Xbox controller, which makes it quite flexible in terms of playing on PC, phone, tablet etc.
