RGB definitely has to be the most the gimmicky millennial tech trend, but one can’t disagree that it looks swanky.

RGB lighting increases power consumption, adds a new layer of software management that could lead to bottlenecks, adds nothing to the performance of the hardware, yet, it seems all tech manufacturers are quickly jumping on the RGB trend.

What started as gimmick lighting, has now developed to really cool, cutting edge, detailed lighting that responds and reacts to the way your computer behaves in conjuncture to your inputs. Multiple RGB accessories and peripherals can have their lighting integrated with each other. RGB lighting in computers is evolving to the next level.

HyperX has announced and launched a bunch of products at CES 2020, many showing how they’ve upgraded their RGB lighting to be more fluid and detailed. Take for example the HyperX Alloy Origins keyboard. It features LED lighting so gorgeous we’ve never seen such lighting in other keyboards.

HyperX revealed another product at CES, the Fury Ultra RGB Gaming Mouse Pad. News is that they have officially launched the product in India, with an MRP of ₹ 6,490. That’s a lot for a mouse pad, but you can’t argue with the sheer sight that an RGB-lit mousepad will behold.

The HyperX Fury Ultra RGB Mousepad has dimensions of 359.4mm x 299.4mm. It is around 5mm thick and weighs a whopping 580 grams, has an anti-slip rubber base and a micro-textured surface. That will ensure stability of your mousepad.

Here are some pictures of the HyperX Fury Ultra RGB Mousepad. A full review is coming soon.
