Logitech G and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 partnership key art announcing Logitech G as Official PC Peripheral Partner

Logitech G is now the Official PC Peripheral Partner for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The company confirmed the tie-up on July 20, with its ASTRO series signed on as the Official Headset Partner for the game.

The deal runs under a campaign Logitech and Activision are calling “Play for Prestige.” Here is what is actually in it:

  • In-game cosmetics: a Logitech G themed weapon blueprint, a charm, and a calling card.
  • Community activity: in-game challenges, streamer events, and hardware giveaways.
  • Creator tooling through Streamlabs: overlays, automatic highlight capture, and stream automations.
  • LIGHTSYNC RGB integration and audio EQ profiles tuned inside G HUB.

Modern Warfare 4 launches October 23, 2026. Pre-orders are live on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, PC players can pre-purchase on Battle.net and Steam, and a Nintendo Switch 2 version is coming with pre-orders opening later this year.

That is the news. Here is where we stand on it.

The gear this rides on

This lands while the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike is on sale in India at Rs 23,995. It is Logitech’s first mouse to swap mechanical microswitches for the Haptic Inductive Trigger System, promising up to 30ms lower click latency, with a HERO 2 sensor and 8kHz polling on top. We have a Superstrike review on the way, so we will get into how much that haptic click system actually changes in the hand rather than on a spec sheet.

The collectibles are doing the heavy lifting again

A themed blueprint, a charm, a calling card. Hardware brands and game publishers have both worked out that cosmetic tie-ins move attention, and this is that playbook running one more time. Whether a branded calling card adds anything to how you actually play is down to you. For a lot of players, these sit in a menu and never get touched. Your mileage will vary, and that is fine.

The India question mark

The community layer is the part worth watching, with one caveat. It is not clear yet how much of this reaches India. In-game challenges tend to roll out globally. Streamer events and giveaways often do not. We will report specifics once Indian availability is confirmed instead of assuming the western rollout maps cleanly onto our market.

Premium price, and the reliability test that comes with it

Then there is the hardware itself. The G Pro line sits at the top of Logitech’s pricing, and the Superstrike’s Rs 23,995 tag makes that plain. Premium money should buy premium reliability, and that is exactly where Logitech’s flagship mice have not always held up. The original G Pro X Superlight earned genuine love from pros and sold in huge numbers, but it also drew a steady run of reliability complaints. Our own long-serving Superlight is a case in point: the scroll wheel has gone unreliable and it occasionally refuses to power on at all.

That is the lens we are bringing to the Superstrike review. Fast clicks are easy to demo on day one. Surviving two years of daily use is the harder test, and it is the one that matters at this price.

For now, Modern Warfare 4 gets a peripheral partner and a set of cosmetics. The question for our readers is whether the gear behind the branding earns what it costs. That is what our Superstrike review will answer. More soon.
