A press release statement released today by Disney UTV claims their mobile game making arm, Indiagames, has crosses the 200 million downloads landmark on the Nokia Store. Only nine months back the 100 million downloads mark had been accomplished.
With downloads recorded from all four corners of the earth, the top 10 countries were India, Brazil, Vietnam, Mexico, Indonesia, Turkey, Thailand, Pakistan, Russian Federation and Saudi Arabia.
The Indiagames catalogue today offers more than 750 games across the mobile platforms, with genres varying from sports, action, racing to bollywood, cricket etc. The top four genres in the catalogue are Cricket, Bollywood, Casual and Action. Indiagame’s games capture the popular cultural points of India, thus making its cricket and Bollywood game a staple for mobile users in the country. Indiagames is the first company on the Nokia Store to reach this landmark.
