In line with celebrating “DreamHack Day” to celebrate the beginning of its festivals, DreamHack has announced the schedule of its world tour for 2023, whereby they are going to host a series of gaming festivals across the globe. They are calling it their most exciting festival year as they are going to debut host festivals in San Diego, CA, USA, and Makuhari, Japan.
In 2023, DreamHack will return to Melbourne, Australia (April), Dallas, Texas (June), Hanover, Germany (June), Valencia, Spain (July), Hyderabad, India (October), Atlanta, Georgia (December), and Jönköping, Sweden (June and December) to host a total of 12 festivals across 9 major cities and 7 countries. DreamHack will also have its inaugural festivals in San Diego, California (April) and Makuhari, Japan (May).

Gamers can visit and enjoy a series of events and activities such as checking out the cosplay, competing against the pro gamers, watching them score, learning to stream, seeing a concert, listening to a panel, looking at artwork, or trying out new technologies at the expo.

Interesting highlights of the festival 2023:
- DreamHack San Diego will feature the North American Finals of the Snapdragon Pro Series presented by Samsung’s Mobile Challenge, the DreamHack Showdown Magic: The Gathering, and more to be announced.
- ESL challenger (CS:GO) will be present in DreamHack Melbourne.
- The Intel Extreme Masters Dallas Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and the ESL Impact Season 3 Global Finals (CS:GO) will be held at DreamHack Dallas
- There will be DreamHack Fighters in DreamHack Summer
- ESL Challenger (CS:GO) will be included in DreamHack Hanover (June). The fourth season’s global finals of ESL Impact will also be held here in December.
- The ESL Challenger (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) and the DreamHack Fighters Championships will be held at DreamHack Atlanta (Fighting Games)
- The ESL Challenger and ESL Impact tournaments for CS:GO will be held during DreamHack Winter, alongside DreamHack Fighters (Fighting Games)
