Gigabyte has recently unveiled its latest range of laptops, which are specifically designed for gaming enthusiasts and content creators. This move marks the company’s entry into the highly competitive gaming arena. The new range of laptops pertain to its AORUS, AERO, and G5 series. These models comprise the Aorus 17 BSF, Aorus 15 BKF, Aorus 15 9SF, Aorus 15 9KF, Aorus 15 9MF, Aero 14 OLED BMF, Aero 14 OLED 9MF, G5 KF, and G5 MF. These laptops feature up to 13th Gen Intel Core processors and the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU.

Aorus 15 and Auros 17 laptops are developed to entice the niche gaming and content creation communities. The Aorus 15  is currently offered in four distinct variations. The laptops are equipped with an Intel Core i7-13700H processor, providing high performance. The memory capacity is up to 64GB DDR5, ensuring efficient multitasking. Additionally, the laptops feature Gigabyte AI boost technology, which optimises the system for maximum performance.

Regarding graphics, the laptops will offer a maximum of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPUs, 8GB GDDR6 VRAM, a cumulative graphic power of 140 watts, and a MUX switch to alternate between integrated or discrete GPUs.

The Aorus product line provides users with a range of display options, including 17.3 and 15.6-inch screens that boast up to QHD resolution. These displays are capable of achieving a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz, resulting in a visually immersive experience with smooth and fluid framerates.

Regarding the design, the recently released Aorus series laptops are encased in a metal chassis that measures 20.8 mm in thickness. The laptops are equipped with a customizable RGB light bar and a pre-key macro RGB keyboard that allows for individual key colour customization.

The Aero 14 OLED is available in two distinct versions. According to the company, the laptops have been specifically designed with creative professionals in mind. The weight of the laptop is 1.49 kg and its thickness measures 17 mm. The laptop is equipped with an Aluminum alloy chassis featuring 3mm four-side thin bezels. One can easily find design similarities of this laptops with our very loved Apple MacBook.

When it comes to processing power, this company delivers with an offering of up to an Intel Core i7-13700H processor and 16 GB LPDDR5 memory, complete with Gigabyte AI boost technology.

The graphics capabilities of the Aero 14 OLED are noteworthy, featuring the choice of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU and 6GB GDDR6 VRAM. It is worth noting that the laptops have obtained NVIDIA Studio certification, implying that they have undergone meticulous adjustments to ensure maximum stability and performance.

It’s no secret that laptops designed for creators are all the rage these days. This one boasts a factory-calibrated display with X-Rite 2.0 and Pantone validation for precise colours. But is this really all it’s cracked up to be? Let’s take a closer look. The laptop’s display boasts a 2.8K QHD+ resolution, which is undoubtedly impressive. The 16:10 aspect ratio is a smart choice for those who crave maximum screen space. However, it remains to be seen whether this feature alone is enough to justify the laptop’s price tag.

The laptop’s glass touchpad is marketed as anti-fingerprint and water-repellent, but how effective is it really? That we will see in the forthcoming days.

The final offering unveiled during the day’s launch event hails from the G5 series. The G5 series laptops have recently been released, with a limited selection of two variants to choose from. The product in question boasts a weight of 1.9 kg and a thickness of 22.7 mm. These specifications may be subject to scrutiny by discerning consumers who prioritize portability and sleek design in their technological devices. But since it is being marketed as the value-for-money variant, the above-mentioned concerns may prove to be futile.

The processor options provided by the company are limited to a maximum of Intel Core i5-12550H, which may not be sufficient for users with high-performance demands. However, the G5 series laptops boast of a high-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, with a maximum graphics power of 75W and up to 8GB GDDR6 memory.

Boasting a 15.6-inch display, the device features a refresh rate of 144Hz, which is sure to appeal to gamers seeking a smooth and seamless experience. The laptops are equipped with a 1.0M HD video camera and a 54Wh lithium-ion battery, which may or may not meet the expectations of users.

The laptops are available for the Indian market from May onwards on the leading E-commerce portals such as Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
