Of course other prizes are great too, but at the end of the day everyone needs money and cash rewards can be great motivation for someone who is looking forward to take up Gaming as a profession. Besides I also believe, Gaming is very costly, at least in India, and not everyone can afford the required hardwares for it. So, if loans can be made available to aspiring gamers to buy the gaming material, it can be of a great support for them.

    Make a cult folowing.

    Project it as an alternative Profession.

    Professions may include: Full time game testers, bug finders, game developers, strategists etc.

    More Indian brands should make high quality gaming hardware, unlike Razer, Steelseries, Roccat etc. which are good on quality but extremely costly.

    Most people in India are casual gamers because they cannot afford quality hardware.

    Organize more gaming competitions, expo, events etc. to draw younger generation.

    More educational institutes from reputed brands specializing in gaming related studies, art, technology and expertise.

    Placements in reputed gaming related companies from premiere institutes.

  9. the gaming can be improve in India as the gaming equipment in india is very very expensive so the hardcore gamers like me cant get best equipments like for ex. the cheapest razor mouse costs above rs 2k . so my suggestion is that the price of gaming equipment should be little bit taken down . if you ever heard of steam (google and find about it ) it is used for downloading games and playing multiplayer games . that service is also not available for India so these type of services should be available for india so that all are my suggestion for improving the gaming conditions in India.

    As you know, in India mostly people are addicted to different kinds of online games. I always play Counter-Strike online which can run easily in every type of pc, but i can’t play high graphics games like Counter-Strike : Global Offence and many more cause i don’t have graphic card in my pc :/ If this contest can win us a graphic card or something else related to gaming then i’m sure this will improve our Indian Gaming level to next gen!

  12. I wanna brief on the topic how Professional Gaming in India can be improved.
    Gaming is actually seen a kinda time killer in India these days. Parents, relatives and each and every elders telling that gamers are just losing their time and physics when they are doing so. So in order to improve professional gaming Indians must stop believing that gaming will kill someone for sure if he spent some leisure time gaming. I am a game enthusiast even when i have a budget PC, that’s because my parents too think that gaming is not a good thing to carry on and my financial status is not so good too. But even then my love towards gaming is still there even with my low end PC. So India must change their mind first in order to be a professional gamer. Indian gamers should be given chances in world wide competitions and we must set up more gaming centers. Many competitions online is not available to Indians actually all that must be very annoying to gamers. And India must give gamers a chance too since they are doing the job they like to do. Everyone have the right to choose what they like more ahh. So I think gaming is not so bad job. Gamers must be given proper attention too. Gaming clubs must grew and gather the all India gamers there. It must provide a great environment for the gamers. The games also helps our brain to work more games that are of brain teaser type or investigation type. So India must give some attention to gamers too.
